These terms cover your use of this website. They are not the contract for any work we do for you — project work is always governed by a separate written agreement, and where the two disagree, that agreement wins.

Accepting these terms

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. We may update them from time to time; the version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.

What this website is

This site describes Softwavz's services and software products. It is information, not an offer capable of acceptance. Nothing here forms a contract, a quotation, or a binding commitment to supply anything at a particular price or on a particular date.

We take care to keep the site accurate, but we do not warrant that every statement is complete or current. Product capabilities change as we develop them.

Enquiries and demo bookings

Submitting the contact form or booking a demo starts a conversation. It does not create a contract or reserve a slot until we confirm it in writing.

When you submit a form you agree that the information you give is accurate, and that you are entitled to provide it — including any company details or colleague contact details you include.

We aim to reply within one business day. That is a statement of intent, not a service level you can hold us to. How we handle the information you submit is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You may read, print and share this site for legitimate business purposes. You may not use it to break the law, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, to submit automated or fraudulent form entries, to send anything malicious, or to scrape it systematically for a competing service.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, layout, graphics, product names and software — belongs to Softwavz or its licensors, unless stated otherwise. Our product names and logo are our marks.

You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. Republishing substantial parts, or reusing our material commercially, requires our written permission.

This site is built on a commercially licensed template, and third-party libraries used within it remain the property of their respective authors under their own licences.

Client work and ownership

Where we build software for a client, that engagement is governed by its own written agreement covering scope, price, timeline, warranties and support.

Our normal position — and what we say on the rest of this site — is that the client owns the resulting source code, database schema, documentation and design files, and that we do not hold clients through access. The specific agreement for your project is what actually binds us both.

Third-party links and services

This site links to third-party services, and embeds a map and an icon library. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Liability

This website is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Liability for work we perform is dealt with in the agreement for that work, not here.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. It forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
