This policy explains what happens to information you give us through this website. It is written to describe what the site actually does, not what a template says it might do. If anything here is unclear, email softwavz@gmail.com and we will explain it in plain terms.
Softwavz builds software, AI, video and digital marketing for businesses. Our registered address is 65A, T.T.K. Nagar, West Tambaram, Irumbuliyur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600045, India. For anything relating to your personal information, contact us at softwavz@gmail.com or +91 7598615146.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law — including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the UK/EU GDPR where it applies to visitors in those regions — Softwavz is the data fiduciary (controller) for information submitted through this site.
We do not require an account, and we do not collect anything from you simply for reading these pages. Personal information reaches us only when you choose to submit one of our two forms.
With either submission we also record the date and time, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. These are kept for security — they let us identify automated abuse of the forms — and for no other purpose.
To reply to your enquiry, arrange and prepare a demo, and continue a conversation you started. That is the whole of it.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question — if we ever offer a newsletter it will be a separate, explicit opt-in.
Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, together with our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries addressed to us.
A submission is written to a file on our own web server and emailed to our team. A confirmation copy is emailed back to the address you supplied.
The email is delivered by our hosting provider's mail service, and our team reads it in a standard email inbox. No third-party CRM, marketing platform or lead-generation service receives your submission.
Some parts of the site load resources from other companies. When your browser requests those resources it reveals your IP address to them, in the same way as visiting any website that uses them.
| Service | Why it is used |
|---|---|
| Google Analytics | On every page, to measure which pages are useful and which lead to an enquiry. Sets cookies and receives your IP address. |
| Google Maps | Only on the Contact page, to display our office location. This embed may set cookies controlled by Google. |
| Only if you click the WhatsApp button, which opens a conversation in WhatsApp's own service. |
We have no access to any data those companies collect. Their own privacy policies govern it.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful and which routes lead to an enquiry. It records the pages you visit, the site that referred you, approximate location derived from your IP address, and details such as browser and device type. It also records certain actions — for example clicking a demo link, a phone number or a WhatsApp button — so we can tell which pages are actually helpful.
Google Analytics sets cookies on your device to recognise a returning browser. Google processes this data on our behalf and their own privacy policy governs it. We do not use it to identify you personally, we run no advertising pixels, and we run no session-recording tools. You can opt out entirely using Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
This website uses cookies for analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<id>, which let it recognise a returning browser and count visits accurately. They typically expire after two years, and you can delete or block them at any time in your browser settings.
We set no advertising cookies and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers. Two other cookies are worth stating plainly. The Google Maps embed on the Contact page may set cookies belonging to Google. And our internal administration area sets a session cookie, which only applies to our own staff signing in — not to visitors.
Enquiry and demo-request records are retained for 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. If a submission leads to a project, the related correspondence is kept for the life of that engagement and for as long as tax and contractual record-keeping requires afterwards.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See "Your rights" below.
Submissions are stored on our server in a directory that is blocked from public access at the web-server level, and the administration area that reads them is password-protected.
No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, and we would rather say so than imply a guarantee we cannot make. If we ever became aware of a breach affecting your information, we would notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
You can ask us to: confirm what information we hold about you; provide a copy of it; correct anything inaccurate; delete it; or stop using it. You can also withdraw consent at any time, which will not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these, email softwavz@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the UK or EU.
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, tell us and we will delete it.
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date shown at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly. This version was last updated on 7 August 2026.
Email us and a person will answer — we would rather explain it than have you guess.
